This System is a great looking system and one you would be proud of having sitting under your television set. The good points, great picture quality, great sound, easy remote and lots of features.

However there is one slight problem, Panasonic, have a compatibility problem with there own television sets. I have a TX28-PL-1, Panasonic television set and the two are not compatibility. The problem is there is a residual current going through the SV Video lead, which causes white lines up and down the picture, which is not noticeable, until you see them, then they are a pain. The solution is easy, any Panasonic centre can arrange for the unit to be modified, which takes about an hour. The problem I had, was that my local Panasonic centre wasn?t a where of the problem, and needed some convincing.

The picture quality is very very, good, having had a Scan, Sony and a Toshiba, only the Toshiba came close. Sound is very rich and full, and plenty of power if you like it loud.

One draw back is that it doesn?t play photo CD?s which is a disadvantage, but the good points far out way the bad ones.
