Advantages: Sound Quality

Disadvantages: Cannot handle DTS (dolby theatre surround) when using optical input

After seeing this in Currys I fell in love with it. It looks fantastic, with two satellite speakers that you can hang on the wall (up in the 2 corners at the back of the room) Then the 2 front speakers come with stands. As well as the centre speaker which sits well on my mantle piece beneath the tv hanging on the wall. And then there's the sub woofer. The surround amp/dvd is a good size, about the size and thickness of a normal dvd player.

The surround amp and dvd player had HDMI output. Which upscales standard dvds to High Definition. This makes the picture quality look outstanding.

The power output is 1000watt. And sub woofer is around 270 watt, which means the bass shakes the room without distorting. This is also good as it has and ipod and usb docking station on the front so you can listen to music as loud as you want in the house (even over the vacuum cleaner!!!) What's even better about this is you can view and select the songs on your ipod on the tv screen, so no more bending down to look at a tiny screen to make sure you have the right song.

It also has an optical input, this is so you can connect other devices like a games console or sky box so they can have surround sound as well.

This is our fourth surround sound and it's by far the best. Previous models have included Philips and Samsung which are not even have as good as this model. This cost me around £250 in Currys last year and was definately worth every penny.
