One of the problems I have had with the player itself is that it can be very fussy about which dvds it accepts. If you have a bit of dust on a disc then it doesnt want to know, and often when it plays the picture is of poor quality. The fan is also quite noisy and this is a real issue when you have the volume quite low. I had been looking for a home cinema system for some time and when I came across the Philips LX3000D DVD Home Cinema System it looked stylish and to say it is from a trusted brand it was also relatively cheap. The sound quality coming through the speakers is greater than the speaker size would at first lead you to believe and the picture is also of a very high standard. One of the problems I have had with the player itself is that it can be very fussy about which dvds it accepts.
