I purchased this home cinema system over 2-3 years ago.

The DVD Player is sleak in design and has a digital display which has a mirrored effect on it when turned off. It is also has a solid build and weighs more that your average DVD player. The volume control is situated on the top on the DVD player and its design reminds me off the iPod control, very cool effect. It plays DVD's, VCD's, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW. Also has MP3 playback and plays your audio CD's. The player has a built in AM/FM radio too.

The Home Cinema Surround Sound System includes 5.1. which is 5 speakers (2 side front speakers, 2 side back speakers & centre speaker) and 1 subwoofer. It supports Dolby Digital whiach is the standard for all DVD players but this one goes one step further and also supports DTS which is on most major DVD releases. It basically means much more higher quality sound is produced compared to Dolby Digital. The back speaker system is wireless which is very good as you dont need to be hiding wires away, its neat and easy. The actual sound it produces is out standing. The Sub is quite powerfull and kicks butt! Really feels like your in a cinema for real. You need good neighbours, trust me they will hear the systems potential.

Overall the system is great and provides you with a all in one package that sounds good. The design of the DVD player is excellent and would fit perfectly in any living room. The wireless capability is a great added bonus.
