I have had the Pioneer system for almost a year. It is almost a full home cinema system! Setting up the system takes little time - the system is pretty straight forward. the sound quality is very impressive, offering true surround sound and very realistic theatre sound system. The DVD itself provides very high quality picture and sound system. The sound system is greatly helped by the sub-woofer, giving a real bass system. The system can also play as a home music system - playing all types of discs, with fully incorporated tuner i.e. RDS, radio systems. It actually works very well as hi-fi system. My first DVD system was a Samsung 709 and a cheap Sony Dolby Digital 5.1 system. Not too long after I decided to upgrade and went looking for a system that would do it all but still be small and stylish. With the influx of DTS discs from the USA I wanted a system that could handle this audio format. I also wanted a player that would be 110% in every category and still look stylish.
