... there is a known problem with the DVD processing chip which causes the device to lockup , after various calls to the Sony customer services department I finally got them to pay for the repairs as it was out of warranty, which kind of confirms that they acknowledge there is a problem with this device. Before and after it was repaired I had no problems, the sound volume and clearness are brilliant. As I had to get it repaired I could not recommend this product which is a shame as it performed well apart from this....more

This surround sound system looks great and the sound it produces is excellent. It has plenty of inputs for digital optical (tos link) scart RGB, composite. It is easy to setup and works well with other Sony equipment such as TV's with smart link.
