Advantages: easy to install, looks the part, super slim speakers
Disadvantages: none apparent
This is a fantastic piece of kit. Also, very easy to install - almost a plug and play scenario. Different coloured plugs in the back of the unit match a similarly coloured lead so pretty difficult to get wrong, even for a novice like me.
I am not a techie so am unable to comment on spec etc (but include the technical data below). However, it does everything I expected it to. The sound is superb (will rock the sofa!) but you must remember to change the function dependent on what you are watching ie, different functions for movies, music, sport etc etc.
The sub woofer is great for scenes involving a helicopter!!
Also, the unit is a DVD & MP3 player.
Two of the speakers are wireless so can be positioned anywhere and have had no problems getting a signal. Having said that the max distance has been about 20 feet. Great for parties as you can move the speakers to a desired location and feed off the wireless feed.
The speakers look and feel classy/stylish.
I purchased the unit from pixmania.com but it was part of an overall package with LCD TV and stand so difficult to say exactly what this cost however, price seems to vary between £300-£340 (www.pricerunner.co.uk)
Overall, I have no hesitation in recommending this to anybody.

- 01/04/07 Hi kellyjou
Thank s for your comments - duly noted.
Have only done a handful of reviews so any advice would be greatly appreciated!
I n terms of spec - would you always include it as part of the review? Would you just put it on the end and would you comment specifically about it?
Any tips you can give would be useful
kind regards |

- 01/04/07 More info added into your review would help your ratings, with regards to not having spec info, this can be got quite easily and would save the potential purchaser googling several times to get the info.
Let me know if you edit and I will re-rate or if you want some tech tips drop me som mail :-)
