Sony DAV DZ100 ... Sony DAV DZ100 is a great home cinema system and although it s been discontinued it s still going strong after 2 years. The DZ100 is a 5.1 surround system meaning you get 1 subwoofer and 5 smaller satellite speakers to put around the room. Although the subwoofer is slightly on the large side, they are all very stylish and look great as part of your TV setup. The speakers and DVD player are all silver with black material over the front of the speakers. This means that it will suit most rooms whether you have a black or silver TV. Sony DAV DZ860W ... bought this Sony DVD home cinema system with the express purpose of being able to play Blu-Ray disks on my PS3 and get the full surround sound experience, and I have to say it was an excellent purchase. Set-up: Installing the system was fairly simple. There are a lot of wires to connect for the 3 front speakers and the woofer, as well as SCART and/or HDMI to your TV, and either Optical/Coaxial audio from the TV to the surround sound system. Unlike some home theatre systems, there is only one power cable for the device; however, this does mean the whole system needs to be powered even when listening to an external audio source. Sony DAV DZ260 ... is a brilliant set up for the money, I managed to get this in a sale for the price of £120 what a bargain. This was really easy plug and play job, took about 20 mins to plug it all in and set it up. This thing is feature packed, but simple enough for even an av novice like me to use. The sound quality is brilliant and once prologic is switched on it creates a really nice soundstage, the sub kicks out a massive amount of rich deep bass which is really nice especially when playing music.
