... excellent piece of home theatre kit from Sony. With all the usual and expected DTS, 5.1ch surround, HDMI inputs/outputs etc this is a comprehensive system. What sets it apart from the rest, is its ease of use and sound quality. Dealing with the former, the manual make this system very easy to set up. Sony DAV DZ830W ... bought this system a year ago, and I m not a really technical person, but I can tell you about all the great things it does! S-master digital amplifier (1200W)S-DIAT wireless rear speakers means you get great surround sound, without wires trailing across the floor. I thought the infra red transmission might have a delay, but it s perfect! BRAVIA theatre sync - you can synchronise your Sony Bravia TV with the sound system, so that when you switch the TV on or off the sound system does the same. Movie/music mode - the system has preset sound modes for different types of movie, so if you re watching Moulin Rouge you can select the appropriate mode to get the best sound... Sony HT SF1100 ... This is a 5.1 surround sound system that is just shocking, pure excellence. I got this from the Sony Centre for £300, usual price is around £349.99, but can be found cheaper on amazon. I got a Samsung 28inch HDTV, but the sound quality is poor, i use my consoles and Sky+HD a lot and even though i am enjoying top picture quality, its just wasn t right without the sound. One thing that attracted me to this was the 2 HDMI inputs and no DVD player (i had it buit in with my PS3 and Xbox 360). Upon getting this delivered the box was really big, it comes with the main amplifer, the bass box and a central speaker, 4 stand speakers and a remote. Installation was very... Sony DAV S 550 ... s DAV-S550 is a fairly small home cinema system with a 5.1 400W output. This particular model looks very stylish, and in fact, is one of the better looking cinema systems on the market. There are some well designed features including a glow in the dark remote, which also adds a bit of novelty to the design. The sound produced is of good quality, with the small but powerful speakers reproducing a good range of tones.
