... is a great piece of kit for any movie lover. It?s stylish and kicks out excellent sound quality. The unit comes in silver and is a compact design. It connects via phono sockets to your sound outputs e.g. TV, Video, Sky and Games Console. The DVD connects via Scart or Svideo sockets to your TV. Sony DAV S 400 ... cinema kits, where do you start? The basics of it are realy quite simple, to try and re-create what you get at the cinema. Some systems are quite good at it and others not quite so good. This one is my first and current, I picked mine up for £200 brand new as I was owed a favour but you can expect to pay up £400 depending were you go but it is well worth investing. You geta brand name in Sony, style and class as standard. but you get loads of features with it like it will do your zoom, different angles ect ect, but for you techies out there it plays sacd ( super audio cd's ) cds which are sheer class to listen to and cost around £30 - £ 50. its also plays in dts ... All this is squeezed into one modest silver box, a modern music centre. It'll play just about any optical disc you have including multi-channel SACD (Super Audio CD) and CD-RW. With tuner and amplifier also built into the system, this really does provide the lot. The speakers consist of five small cubes and one big box, the bass unit.
