      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Not meant for long terms.

We bought this aerobed when we had just moved into a new flat and we hadn't yet decided what kind of furniture we were going to buy and were still waiting for our old furniture to arrive from our prior residence. Although this bed is meant mainly for camping and outdoor purposes, we decided on buying this for our home so that if we have guests over in the future, we could use it for them. It has a very simple assembly procedure. It comes in a folded way in a small carton box. After removing it from the box you have to inflate it with the electric pump provided inside by attaching the pump to the hole at one end of the bed. It takes nearly a minute to inflate the entire bed and voila' you have a great single mattress sized bed at your service. Any single mattress sized bedsheet fill fit this bed and once you are on this aerobed, you would forget that this is air filled or that this is not a real bed or mattress. However after using th bed for a few times it got worn out and would stop inflating. it did not last long so I am not sure if I would recommend it to anyonw looking for something like this for a long run.

I'll never sleep on an airbed again

I have an aerobed and it really isn't just an airbed. It is a decent night's sleep. We bought it when we going on a camping holiday and I was pregnant and couldn't face the airbed. Honestly, it was so comfortable. After a few nights I realised I was more comfortable in my tent than I was at home. Which was slightly depressing actually, but still. The aerobed comes with it's own pump which you attach to the hole at the end of the bed and switch on. It really does take a minute to completely inflate the bed. You take the pump off and press a little button to let out a little air until the bed is as soft as you want it. The pump is good for inflating the bed about 4 times and then you need to recharge it (plug it into the mains for 12 hours). When you need to deflate the bed, you open the large plastic cover at the end of the bed and all the air rushes out. (It's pretty difficult to open it accidentally!). But it is really quick and easy to get all the air out. The bed is the same size as a single bed mattress so normal sheets will fit. It feels like you are lying on a real mattress. No sloshing about on air. It's great. They've got one on the aerobed.co.uk site for £30 at the moment, too.
