Simple storage solution

If you're looking for a handy storage unit for lots of bits and pieces this could be a great, cheap solution! Measuring 86cm high, 32cm wide and with a depth of 38cm, it doesn't take up masses of room yet the drawers are really deep so there is plenty of space inside.

This is currently available in Argos for £19.99 (usual price is £24.99). It comes in red, black, white and silver - the version I have is white.

Easy construction

This unit is made entirely from plastic and has a basic frame that you need to construct yourself. There are four spacious drawers which are slightly see-through and once these are in the unit they slide in and out easily without coming out of the frame - in fact if you do want to take them out you need to put a bit of effort in. Putting this together is really easy and I am sure anyone could manage it - it should only take you a few minutes. There are also four castors for each corner so you can wheel this about - I used these for a few years but eventually got rid of them - it actually seemed more stable when it was just placed on the floor and I didn't really need the wheels anyway! There is also a flat top so you can actually put things on top of the unit too if you want to.

Girlie stuff

I have had my set of these drawers for years now. I actually use them to store all my toiletries and other girlie bits and pieces - of which I have a lot - and I love that there is so much space in the drawers for all my stuff including large bottles, hair stylers (that I never use), make-up bags and so on. I also think this would be great for toys in a child's room, and well as in a bathroom. It's a versatile unit and would work well for a range of uses.

The only thing I regret is buying the white version as it does show up dust and dirt and it has started to look grubbier over the years. If I was to buy this again I think I would go for the silver version.

But all in all I would recommend this unit if you need some cheap, durable and versatile storage. It isn't the most gorgeous looking thing in the world, but you can get loads in the drawers and it has really lasted me well over the years.
