      Advantages

      Disadvantages

It's a very stylish sofa which is sadly let down by its comfort

When I first moved out of my parents house and into a house of my own I wanted to make it really stylish with the most trendy furnishings I could find, but being only 19 Years old I had to buy everything on a budget. I really wanted a corner "L" shaped sofa so bad! I thought they were gorgeous and the most stylish sofas around, but sadly the price tag that came with a corner sofa was a lot more than I could afford, then I came across this Dylan sofa while browsing through the Argos catalogue and at £399.99 it was considerably cheaper than any corner sofa i'd seen.

I wanted to decorate my living room with a black and white theme, so the charcoal shades of the sofa were also perfect for what I wanted. The sofa is also available in shades of brown and you can get it as a Left Hand corner sofa or a Right Hand corner sofa. I knew it was about the cheapest I was going to find this kind of sofa so I went ahead and bought it.

The sofa arrives in two halves and you just simply push them together to make the corner "L" shape, then assemble all of the cusions in place on the sofa, so it was easy enough to put together and it does look as stylish as it does in the catalogue, so I wasn't disappointed with the look of it at all.

The first problem that I had with this sofa is that the cushions are constantly falling off since they only sit loosely in place around the back of the sofa, especially the one on the corner part of the sofa which I am forever picking up off the floor. The base of the sofa beneath the cushion is also a very hard wood which you can sometimes feel when you are sitting on the sofa, especially if you sit down hard! So this sofa doesn't offer much comfort. It is very low down too so isn't the most comfortable sofa to be getting up from, whenever I have my grandparents round they can't sit on my sofa at all because it is too low down for them.

The sofa is easy to wash though, some parts of it can just be wiped down or hoovered easily and all of the cushion covers are removable and machine washable. I do like the fact that this sofa can seat more people than a normal shaped sofa can, we can usually seat 4 people on ours at a time, 5 at a push. The corner part is also nice for lying stretched out on.

One thing to bear in mind when buying a corner sofa, is the size and shape of your living room. If your living room is quite small, then a corner sofa can sometimes make it a nuisance to move around. A corner sofa also limits the amount of different layouts you can have in your living room, since often it will only fit nicely in one particular space.

This sofa does have its benefits, but as i've mentioned it also has its negatives too. I still think that it is very well priced for a corner sofa but in terms of comfort you get what you pay for.

This sofa is still on the Argos website for £399.99 but it is now named the Byron Sofa.
