Advantages: Looks good and decent price

Disadvantages: Stuff gets lost down the deep pile

We have a few different bits and pieces around the house from Argos, including lots of cushions, curtains and other soft furnishings. We always find their stuff good quality and a reasonable price to boot.

We have two of their sparkly shaggy rugs in our house - one is brown and in the living room and other one is exactly the same only in a deep plum colour and in the front bedroom.

We have laminate floors in both of these rooms and the idea was to make the room feel a little bit more comfortable (and warm on the feet) by chucking down a nice softrug. Both of these rugs cost us £39.99 each (but we had some vouchers as presents at the time so probably got about another ten pounds off the total price).

The rugs are a really good size for the price at 160cm x 120cm. The lttle lad loves them and likes to sit on the one in the living room on a night after his bath when he has his jim jams on becase he says it feels lovely and cosy and soft. It is really nice to walk on when you have bare feet and the shaggy pile is really long and has a nice luxurious feel to it.

It is made of about 20% polyester and the rest is made of polypropalane and is checked for fire safety etc as it says in the tag that came with it. Both the brown one and the plum one look really good against the laminate floor and give the rooms a nice look - quite warm and snug.

The only downside with these rugs is that because they are so deep and shaggy there is a tedancy for stuff to get lost in between the pile. The little lad likes to eat a bowl of frozen peas when he watches the telly (strange child that he is) and we often find the odd pea wedged deep down in the pile when we come to give it a shake.

All in all though a great rug, good quality, and not very expensive.

Recommended.
