verona shelving unit with 4 shelves and very easy assembly

When we moved into our current house I wanted to buy shelves for in a large cupboard at the top of our stairs to keep towels and spare bed sheets on, so I was just wanting a cheap set and then I came across these verona shelves which were on offer and only cost me £16 as opposed to the retail price of £29.95 in argos.

The shelves have a neutral beech effect finish to them with a silver frame and legs which are made from plastic. The shelves are really easy to assemble and it only takes a few minutes to do so as each shelve has already got pre-drilled holes which the legs slot through and then screw into the next leg to secure in place. After the first part is completed the process is repeated by placing another shelf on and screwing the next leg in. There are 4 shelves but if you want you can just build 2 or 3 instead of the 4. Once fully assembled the shelves are quite sturdy and stable and definitely last as we have had ours for just over a year now and they are still in perfect condition.

Although I got a good buy for these shelves and they have lasted us I doubt I would pay the full retail price for them as there are a lot better buys out there and cheaper alternatives.

The idiot proof shelving unit - cheap and functional and so easy to assemble.

      This shelving unit is fantastic.

I'm 24 and recently moved into a part-furnished flat with a friend, but I own a lot of stuff and needed some furniture to store things and fill in space. This shelving unit from Argos is a real gem - £29.99 and it is absolutely fool-proof.

For some reason, the instructions say it's two people self-assembly, but I managed to assemble it on my own in under ten minutes - and I am a DIY-phobe! Instructions are simple, but it's so self-explanatory, you don't even need them! No tools are required either - just a very simple assembly method of putting the supports through the holes in the shelves and screwing tightly.

Although cheap, it doesn't look nasty. Whilst it clearly doesn't look like you've paid a fortune, it looks fine and the beech effect means that it will go with virtually any decor as it is so neutral.

Mine is set up in my bedroom, but I'm tempted to buy another for my lounge. There are also other bits and pieces in the same range, which are also as easy to assemble - which is useful if you want matching furniture!

This is an excellent piece of furniture well worth the price

I moved into a flat of my own about 2 and a half years ago when I was 23 and had ideas on what I was looking for with my decor so went for the first room being my living room where I was using glass furnishings and the range I used was Verona so when I had managed to put together a little bit of spare cash and was looking to improve my space within my bedroom I opted to go for the Verona range again but this time opted for their beech offering.

The furniture comes in a flat pack box and is very simple and quick to assemble with no tools needed and it easily possible to put this up on your own (despite Argos saying 2 person self assembly). The shelving fits together without a great deal of instruction and once you have done one layer you know exactly what you are doing so it really is excellent for those not looking to spend ages building their furniture.
Once assembled this furniture looks very smart and fits in well with most decor as the beech finish is simple yet stylish and the legs on it a grey plastic making it a piece that does not beg for attention over other furniture in your room. The shelves are of a decent size and can hold a decent weight meaning they are ideal for holding the likes of books, dvds, cds and many more items with my current use of my shelves being for clothing.
The Verona shelving is a piece of furniture that is very good value with it being only £29.99 but the thing I find even better is that you can easily increase your storage as if you buy another shelving unit then you can increase another 3 by one layer each and thus greatly increase your storage capacity whilst not taking up more floor space in your room (something I have found to be much easier than with other furniture than others).

      Positives:

      - Easy and quick assembly
      - Excellent value
      - Easy to increase storage capacity
      - Looks excellent
      - Great storage capacity and shelf strength

      Negatives:

      - None

This is an excellent piece of furniture and is well worth a look at if you are in need of picking up some furniture for your home.
