An opinion about shelves, no more, no less. (B&Q Furniture in general)

On my trip to ikea I passed a B&Q.

So I thought, hmm, I could do with some new shelves for my room, so I went and bought some.

Here is what I got:

2 x 2m lond value shelf
Price: £3 each

1 x 1m long value shelf
Price: £1.50

Both of these are complete with brackets, and yes you did read correct - £7.50 for 3 shelves.

They are made of wood, pine to be exact, and have dove tail brackets and are held to the wall with a "NO VISIBLE SCREWS" system. I.e. You cannot see any screw, funnily enough!

The wood is a okay-good qualitym and is ready to be vanished or painted.

However if like myself, you are lazy, then just leave them how they are, and if you put them indoors, no protection should be needed.

The packaging they come in is pretty "value" too, simply wrapped in clear plastic with a frilly "B&Q" paper brand marker within.

Well what can I say, if your in the market for shelves, and don't mind getting a "common" piece of wood, then these are the things for you!

Get down to your local B&Q and ask for directions to the VALUE PACK aisle.
