A good experience (B&Q Kitchen Furniture)

Advantages: Very helpful both in the store and the delivery men.

Disadvantages: There were none.

Last year we planned a kitchen extension which meant a total refit of all cupboards, worktops and sink. After consideration we decided to purchase these from B&Q but have the fitting done by our builders. Having read some of the reviews regarding B&Q fitting we perhaps made a good decision.

We collected a catalogue and I planned the new kitchen and made a complicated list of all the requirements. With a 50% sale currently running we were keen to get the order placed, although
the building work was some weeks away.

So off we went with our order and we were assisted by a very helpful assistant. Examing my plan he pointed out a couple of things I had overlooked and he then placed our order. The delivery date came up, which was a bit sooner than we would have liked but we decided to go with it.

Our ability to receive the delivery was checked two days prior to the delivery date and again at two hours on the actual day.

We had heard so many horror stories regarding incorrect deliveries of kitchens by many suppliers we were obviously a little worried. We need not have worried, after the delivery guys checked it all against the order everything seemed OK. We were told that we had 30 days in which to report any discrepancies.

When the time eventually came to build and fit the units we were delighted to find all was correct right down to the last screw.

I am sure everybody has not had such a good experience but in our case full marks to B&Q
