b&q glass splash backs are not fit for purpose mine has cracked and was fitted as instructed. Been back to b&q and the staff wern't really bothered just give me a phone number and said it is fitted incorrectly,as I work in the trade I am dissapointed with this product and b&q for selling me this rubbish,have spent thousands there but not any more going to shop elsewhere in future.

We had a pretty good experience of B&Q kitchens, probably because we ordered our kitchen from them but employed our own builder to fit it. Make sure you check off all delivered items against the invoice order, as they may, by mistake, leave out items or give you the wrong items. Check the code on each item; it may be tedious, ... We also have had the experience from hell!! Installation began on 14th April still not finished. To date 14 different people have been involved with installation including one man who did the tiling and when we complained about the terrible job he'd done he admitted he wasn't a tiler!! The tiles all had to come down damaging the cooker hood, hob and sink in the process. B&Q promised that job would be completed yesterday and they would replace the damaged sink - when it was removed thay discovered they had ordered the wrong replacement and so put the damaged one back. I would never recommend this company to anyone!!

NEVER AGAIN! Purchased & paid in December - Fitting date 2 March - catalogue of errors, wrong plans given to fitters, wrong parts delivered, parts missing, parts broken, shoddy job by fitters, complete disrespect of my property, carpets damaged, house left in filthy state, kitchen still unfinished (waiting for replacement parts that were out of stock in March) - now 23 April & still no progress, no door handles on doors, leak under sink, electrics hanging off walls, cupboards missing. The worst experience of customer service ever experienced - no response to letter sent to customer service department locally & at head office. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER USING THEM!

Kitchens from HELL! Do not ever get a kitchen ordered or fitted from B&Q. Late fitting, lost parts, damaged parts, overcharging for work never carried out, wrong worktops, too short worktops, the list is endless. I am now on my 5th visit to B&Q to sort the mess out, have dealt with at least 10 different people on the subject and have had 4 managers come out to the property to view. This was a supposed dry fit as all the kitchen had been replastered, rewired and replumbed ready for them. The installation company even admitted that B&Q are the worst company they service.
