Advantages: 10 Litres, good value, covers quite well
Disadvantages: takes a few coats sometimes
I am in the middle of moving house at the minute. This has got to be the most stressful time of my life so far.
I live in a council property so the house move came as a sudden shock and I have been given 2 days to move into the property. I am not able to move in because I am heavly pregnant and can not be in the paint fumes so I am living at the mother in laws at the minute.
I bought this paint because I didn't have alot of money at such short notice and it was a very big 10 litre pot of white emulsion for £10 I also invested in the magnolia of the same brand and size. This did seem good value for money. We have had to paint the ceilings upstairs twice and they were in quite good condition to start, the downstairs I have had to invest in a much thicker paint because it just wont cover the stains.
However if you are using this paint on lining paper it is great and covers very well. It doesn't take long to dry 2 hours at the most. It is very good value for money and even if you have to do two coats in every room you should still have plently left after.
I found this good value for money and it saved alot of expense for me because it did most of the rooms. I found that it is not so good on very stained ceilings but is brilliant on lining paper.
I would suggest anyone who is moving house and just needs something up quickly just to make the house look clean and is also struggling financially like most of us are these days, then invest in this you may have a bit more work but financially it is worth it.
Summary: good value paint but can be hard work

- 21/07/09 I wasn't terribly impressed with the coverage of this, it needed at least three coats which took the value for money aspect down a little.
Good luck when baby arrives! |
