Advantages: LARGE SURFACE MAKES IRONING QUICKER

Disadvantages: ALL THE BUMPF THAT COMES WITH IT!!

My wife has been looking at this ironing board lovingly for ages so when it was reduced to £30 it is usually £45 in Tescos we decided to take the plunge,got the first one home and unpacked only to find it was bent,not a good start,Tesco replaced it no problem.
Second try and it is a monster compared to our regular size ironing board,the stand for the iron on the end is great,unless you have a steam generator iron (i do!!) and then it just sort of sits on the end quite precariously.
With it comes a ironing sleeve(mini ironing board for shirt sleeves), extension socket and built in rack.All of these are useless,the rack is too small and flimsy,the sleeve thing my wife is still laughing about and the extension socket is just sort of clipped on and really does not help at all (i have taken it off)
All this said it is worth the money for the basic board as it is much quicker to iron due to its large surface area and mesh design.Just wish Brabantia did not try and dress it up with so much rubbish.

Summary: LARGE DECENT BOARD,LOSE THE WHISTLES AND BELLS!!
