i recieved a phone call from craftmatic beds stating i had won a £500 voucher,could somebody come to my house the next day which was saturday20-10-07 to do a presentation about the beds no obligation to buy then i would be left a survey to do at my own leisure ,ihad stressed in the phone call that i would not be buying a bed,but they told me i didnt have to and that i had won the £500 voucher shopping spree anyway,they told me i would get a follow up call which i did get straight away from the supervisor stating they would see myself and my husband the next day at 10am and that we both had to be there.iwas told after the presentation when i had the survey i had to post .  Read the complete review

Craftmatic - should be crappermatic. What a heep of shit. This bed and the company should be sent back to the USA wgere they come from. I didnt fight in the war to be sold rubbish by yanks and their UK operation. The bed is too heavy, dosent do what it says it will and I think you would be better off sleeping on the £5,000 on the floor. Just had a visit from two salesmen this afternoon at my Mothers house-she wanted me to be there and it's a good thing I was! Salesmen were at least polite and pleasant enough, but quite pushy of course. Phoned two previous "customers" for them to give recommendations. I do wonder if they were real and getting paid a bonus per call or just employees of Craftmatic? Whole thing lasted 3 hours with the obligatory calls to the office and manager who spoke to me and the price came down from £4800 to £2495-what a surprise! I wouldn't recommend anyone do business with this totally unprofessional company. My mother attended the ideal home show at which this company had a stand. On showing an interest in perhaps a future purchase of an adjustable bed she gave her contact detals so that they could send her a brochure at a later date. She has since been bombarded with sales calls, despite stating that she had decided against purchasing one of their beds. This company had not stopped calling her. Today, I took the call. Beware of doing business with these people. You must sign a contract that obligates you to a purchase sight unseen. No returns allowed. My bed is almost unuseable. I find reading in bed difficult, which was the reason that I thought I wanted it. The salesman assured me it would be very suitable, but I find I need a bolster, which slips between the mattress and the bed when it's in the raised position. The edges of mine tend to sag, forcing me to sleep in the center.
