Appalling customer services (Craftmatic Adjustable Bed)

Disadvantages: Company don't leave you alone, then the sales staff give you nuisence cals

I wouldn't recommend anyone do business with this totally unprofessional company.

My mother attended the ideal home show at which this company had a stand. On showing an interest in perhaps a future purchase of an adjustable bed she gave her contact detals so that they could send her a brochure at a later date. She has since been bombarded with sales calls, despite stating that she had decided against purchasing one of their beds. This company had not stopped calling her. Today, I took the call.

The sales girl asked to speak to my mother, who was out at work, I asked who was calling so she would know who had called for her while she was out but the girl kept saying she'd call back later. I asked her several times who was calling when she told me that she wasn't telling me and put the phone down on me. Infuriated I did 1471 and got the number to call back, which I did. I got an answerphone with the same girls voice speaking asking me to leave a message. I pointed out how rude she was and asked her never to call our home again.

Five minutes later the phone rings again, this time I can hear the same office sound in the background but nobody speaking. I said hello several times but it was apparent I was now getting a silent call from this sales girl. With that, and the end of my tether reached I told her go away in a slightly stronger term hoping she'd get the message. Minutes later she rings me back again!!!!! All she would say was "such language, such language" She really failed to see that she had called me in my own home purposely aggravating me, and seemingly getting a laugh at continuing to do so. I asked her what her name was as I wished to complain to her supervisor and all she kept saying was "what, what, what" over and over again. She refused to tell me her name, and when I informed her I'd be reporting her company to the trading standards she told me to go ahead. I could not believe I was getting such calls from a company who are ringing you for your business, to buy a bed that runs into thousands of pounds, it beggared belief at the totally unprofessional manner of the girl at this company.

I would advise others against geting collared by this company for your contact details, they don't leave you alone, and cannot compose themselves in a professional business manner, I dread to think what the actual product is like, but with "customer services" like that I would steer well clear.
