Craftmatic Adjustable Bed Reviews

I did alot of shopping around before I bought my new bed but cant say i was over the moon with it. I read a craftmatic review and they essentially delivered what they promised which was a quality bed that improved my quality of life, but there were issues. The headboard was just not suitable and although the sales staff were very helpful it took over 3 weeks for them to deliver a new one which i was willing to pay for. All in all ok but only just.

I invested a large portion of my savings in my new bed but was left a little disappointed and felt I had to write a craftmatic review outlining the difficulties i faced. First of all the bed and all the fittings were literally dumped in my house with a minimal level of instrauction as to fit it all together, this was made worse by the fact that I am disabled and do not enjoy the same level of movement as other people. When i finally found someone to put it together for me it proved to be an improvement on my last bed and aided my sleep. I really did expect more from a top level company than just to leave me in the lurch in regard to the assembly.

Although the product I received was suitable in regard to my medical needs it wasn't the model I ordered. I rang up and pointed this out but they continually stated that the error was mine and I'd ordered that model but I knew I didn't. I highlighted to them the craftmatic review I'd read which influenced my decision they were still adamant that I was in the wrong. Eventually they did admit their error and offered to exchange my bed for the model i ordered, I considered their offer but then decided to keep the one that was delivered as I couldn't face any more hassle.

On the whole I am pleased with the purchase of my new bed, it was delivered on time and the after sales advice i received was good. However, after less than 30 days the hand held adjusting unit malfunctioned and failed to work properly, this was obviously very inconvenient as my mobility is impaired. I called at the earliest opportunity and asked that craftmatic review the terms of my warranty and they agreed that the product was under warranty and I was entitled to a free replacement control. They said they would send one out asap but I did'nt receive it for 7 weeks although it did come eventually I felt the service could have been quicker.

I have had my craftmatic bed for over 3 years now and it is as good today as the day I bought it and felt I must write a craftmatic review of my experience with the company. I have on occasions needed to call the company and ask for advice on how to keep the bed in optimum condition and the information I receive is always courteous and any spare parts arrive promptly and are easy to install. My sleeping patterns have improved significantly since I bought my bed and I only have praise for both the construction and the ongoing customer service.

After extensive research via the internet and advice from my GP I decided to buy a new bed, the biggest problem I had was selected a suitable model from the multitude of manufacturers. The thing that swayed my decision was a craftmatic review written by a satisfied customer and I decided to put my money where my mouth is and called them. They promised delivery within a stated timescale but it didn't arrive, I called them and was fobbed off with a number of excuses and although the bed I finally received met with my needs the customer service was sadly lacking.

I have seen this lot on Watchdog The scummy salesman asking the old lady that she would have to go into a home and have someone "wipe her bottom.." beyond indecency! they have ripped my mum off £100 deposit, told her she had won £500 voucher but when the sales person came round didnt know anything about it! just cancelled direct debit with the bank but wont answer on the phone to cancel the delivery. how those people can come in to houses and ripp others off. i even phoned the police but the stupid sales man even wormed is way out of the questions and with my mum signed up.

We almost got conned too. Yesterday the salesman spent 4 1/2 hours at our home demonstrating the bed and the massage. We are both early retired through ill health and have diabetis and ashtma and arthritic conditons between us.
The bed seemed a dream solution to our bad sleep. We only get benefits so he told us he could do a special deal and rang the manager who gave us the five grand bed for 2.5 grand on finance. In the end we agreed. Then we saw this site and we knew we had been conned.
I rang to cancel and he said we could have the bed for 1.8 grand!!!
I have stopped my cheque and cancelled. It's a con.
They pray on sick people. How do they sleep at night?

same here mother conned, but got it canncelled,,went to trading standards who rung company and got delivery stoped...just bought same type of bed from Dreams but double for £1100 with 5 year motor garantee and 10 year mattress garantee,,not the £3700 pounds craftmatic wanted for a single bed,, lucky i wasnt in the house when their saleman called i would av launched him into orbit honest

Presentation long and boring with a very badly acted video.
Beds very overpriced. You can easily buy beds which are just as good if not better for a quarter the price.
Dubious pressure sales techniques.
£500 shopping vouchers a worthless scam.
DON'T BUY

Just sat through a 2 hour presentation with the promise of a £500 shopping voucher.

Having said frequently I was looking I was persuaded to carry on which I did. He had me lying on bed with feet on the vibrating mattrtess, he then massaged me with the vibrator (fun) even though I said it was very painful and dagerous to my disability.

Finally the nitty gritty bit. Was I buying, I said not yet, how would I pay? I said I never had credit. He phoned the company on my phone twice. I got to speak to the manager (how convenient) and he tried to sell me a bed for half the original quoted price.

Selling is like Double Glazing. Keep saying no and the prioce goes down and down. And the shopping voucher is also a con.
