We ordered our 3 and 2 seater leather sofas on the 29th October (dont remember the sofa name) with guaranteed xmas delivery.
When i ordered i told the salesman how my front door and living room door was positioned and took the measurements in and he assured me it would be fine.

I didnt hear nothing until the 22nd of December when i got a phone call telling me it was coming the next day!! not much notice as i needed to take the day off work, I managed to get my mum to agree to house sit while the sofa came so i could go to work.

The next day i got a phone call from my mum saying that the sofa had come but they couldnt get the 3 seater in the house!
I then got told by the delivery man that there was no way it was going in so they were taking the 3 seater and the 2 seater which they hadnt even attemted to get in the house back and someone would ring me within the next hour to sort it out

4 hours wen by and i didnt get a phone call from anybody so decided to ring myself, they basically and bluntly told me i could have two 2 seaters or nothing and id have to go and choose another style.

I agreed to two 2 seaters, got the next one delivered the next day and have only just got my other one, today 25/02/2010.

I havent recieved my leather care kit which they have put on the invoice and are charging me for, i didnt even get an apology for the salesman falsely stating that it would fit in the house.

Im happy with my sofas but i will never use DFS again

sorry for the long rant haha

Summary: great sofas but they need new employees
