Having recently moved into a new apartment, one thing we really wanted to get done was the bathroom. Its a small 1 bedroom apartment with a basic small bathroom.
I had already done some pricing on the web and for a new bath, basin, tiles and accessories, all top range, it was going to cost about £2000. Including labour costs I figured I could get away with the whole project for around £3000 to £3500 max.

I saw the dolphin ad on TV and thought they are probably on the pricy side but with a 50% discount it may be reasonable. And if it could save me some time and effort it would be worth a little extra money.
So last night the salesman came over, a nice enough guy, he measured up the bathroom and we went through what we wanted. He then came out with a base cost price of over £24,000!!! For tiling, a bath and a basin!!! Of course there is the 55%discount which generously brings the price down to £11,000. Or if you choose to take up their offer of finance they will discount it further to £8600 (must be some serious kickbacks happening there).

So I politely declined his offer and will instead wait until I get some spare time and organise it myself. I am sure I can get a great holiday with the £5000-£7400 I will save.
I think you always have to be wary of companies that don't publish price lists.

Summary: Ridiculously overpriced bathrooms. Better off organising it yourself.
