This my first review on Doo Yoo. If I can stop anyone from having to go though a similar experience with Dolphin Bathrooms, it is worth it.

Dolphin Bathrooms installed my bathroom 18 months ago. The sales and marketing techniques used were very clever, glossy brochures, stylish showrooms and TV ads depicting idyllic bathrooms. However, once payment was received, (Dolphin insist on being paid in full before installation commences) the service changed dramatically.

The installation date was delayed for a month and the job took longer than had been promised. Wrong units were delivered and the fitters spoke very little English so communication was tricky.

The result was a disaster and my bathroom looked nothing like those in the glossy brochures. To give you an idea of a few of the problems that I have encountered since installation: the floor has risen 3 inches with tiles buckling up, the bath has sunk and has been fitted on an angle, pipes twisted and leaking and taps dripping.

I have had two independent builders and a decorator out to rectify various problems. They tell me that they are accustomed to repairing Dolphin Bathrooms work and that Dolphin fitters are paid a "pittance", are “amateur” and are tasked to get in and out as quickly as possible.

Dolphin Customer Service is non-existent. Phone calls are not returned and the only time I have had a satisfactory response to a letter is after threatening to take them through the small claims court. Following an independent report on my bathroom floor and numerous letters and phone calls, Dolphin bathrooms sent out an inspector to assess the situation. They agreed to replace the floor. A fitter arrived at very short notice, took up the floor and then left! I now have no floor and Dolphin Bathrooms tell me that they have no plans to return to my property. They are however willing to sell me materials at a cost of GBP450 so I can fit the fl
oor myself! The same brand of tiles and materials can be bought independently for around GBP50.
