Dear Sir re Dolphin bathrooms, they were all right untill, the aftersales customer services was total rubbish. you ring no one rings you back, still waiting for a part of a toilet system, to be fitted after 2 months. i would not recomend them to anyone again

Following initial contact in February, we proceeded with two installations during April, completed early May: a bathroom and separate wetroom.
These are now fully in use, and I would like to say how pleased both my wife and I are with them.
The procedure from start to finish - through designer and surveyor visits to the fitting itself - was carried out with professionalism. In particular, we were very impressed with the quality of work and care dedicated by your fitter, worthy of specific mention.
We would be glad to recommend your services, indeed have already done so to people who have been in to visit you recently.

Had a Dolphin bathroom installed in February 09. This was a torrid experience and I would advise everyone needing a replacement bathroom to avoid them like the plague. Responded to a 1/2 price offer in January. Biggest mistake I have made, the installer did an awful job, laid chipped tiles & a damaged shower screen, stuffed a towel into the back of the toilet to hide a leak ... list goes on. I then asked a plumber I knew to look at the new pipework they installed, he described as the worst job he had seen. He also hightlighted their attempts to hide their short-cuts. On the positive, the actual Dolphin people seem as disappointed by their contractors efforts ... but I still dont have a useable bathroom. So would strongly recommend you avoid Dolphin like swine flu

Had a shower installed last year which took 7 weeks due to workman, we were told, having 'personal issues'. Well it certainly affected his performance as he only ever seemed to be able to work 2-3 hours/days and was more to do with his laziness and incompetence. This was the shoddish work you can imagine. I needed to do a bathroom refurb a couple of years back and went to a local store and got local tradesmen to do the work. Starting quotes for everything was around £5k. Don't think of using Dolphin. Their customer service is fine until they have your money. Then they don't want to know you. They fitted our bathroom less than 2 years ago, and already the shower has broken. They have not answered my e-mails, and when you ring up, they pass you from pillar to post. I also wish I had read these comments before committing to use this tinpot company. I am on my 3rd builder because of the poor quality of work. I never heard from my 1st project manager and after numerous complaints was allocated another one. 1st project manager signed the job off and 2nd project manager agreed with the 23 mistakes I found (including a hole in the wall where my taps had been installed) resulting in another 5 days worth of repairs. Regional manager lied to me about who is manager was and gave me a different name and refused to give me his phone number to escalate my problems. Customer Services repeatedly calling asking if happy now job finished when I still have builders on site!! 8 weeks in, still not finished. DO NOT USE THEM, they should not be allowed to trade. Promise lots, deliver NOTHING.

I wish I had read these reviews before having my bathroom installed by Dolphin...I will not go into too much detail here other than to say that everything negative in the reviews below was absolutely true in my case too. I would not recommend Dolhpin to my worst enemy. I am still in dispute with them after they damaged a drain pipe resulting in water damage to my hallway ceiling and floor. Customer Service / After Sales is non-existant and I am thinking of cutting my losses in order to reduce my stress levels! Yes - they are that bad...

I would like to agree with everything bad thing that all the other people say about Dolphin bathrooms. The service is CRAP! We very recently had a quote of £11,500 for our bathroom to be done and its only 9ft by 8ft. We must have been mad but we paid a deposit of just under £4,000. We canceled the job within the seven days cooling off period because we were not happy with the service we were given, or lack of it?and have had a real headache trying to get our money back. My best advice is DO NOT use Dolphin bathrooms. Get an independent plumber, plasterer, sparks etc and stay right away from them. Dolphins should be kept in the ocean not aloud in peoples bathrooms. Makes me mad they take your money so quick but are very very very slow to give it back.

Best advice I could ever give anyone in my life - NEVER USE Dolphin. It has taken me almost five years to say that name again, I was livid for years over the terrible ordeal this company put my husband and I through. I was so sick over it, you pay the earth for their services and then they farm out the work to the cheapest bidder. MFI had nothing on these guys. I moved out of my house because I was sick of the sight of our new 8K bathroom - I shudder when I think about it. These guys are con men - if I ever meet the sales guy again (who you never, ever receive a peep from after the sale) I will not be held responsible for my actions!! lol How would I sum this company up? In a word - AWFUL
