I am one year on from having a £12,000 bathroom installed by Dolphin and am still fighting to get it finished, they managed to flood my breakfast room below the kitchen and ruin the ceiling, connect electrical equipment and leave live junction boxes and switches open in my loft (out of sight, out of mind); put a hole through the bathroom ceiling, AND LEAVE IT LIKE THAT!!
Finishing is very poor quality and trying to contact them or get action is virtually impossible. Worst consumer experience I have ever had, DO NOT CONSIDER THEM FOR A JOB, THEY WILL LET YOU DOWN. Still waiting for a bath panel to be delivered which is not damaged, six so far, none fit for purpose. Don't listen to the sales patter or the alleged offfers, don't let them into your property, a classic case for Watchdog.

I'm thoroughly pissed off in general now with Dolphin. The main problem being our toilet is still getting blocked up every week or so. They eventually fixed what we thought was problem - pipe flowing uphill instead of downhill but still not working! I just don't know what to do next. Hoping they can take out toilet and put another one in. It's appalling that we should have to put up with it. It's clearly not fit for its purpose and if they don't sort it out we'll have to call in trading standards. They even charge you £85 for the privelege of looking at something they got wrong in the first place and then we'll reimburse you if they think there's a problem. Luckily they have reimbursed us for that but we still want the money for the plumbers' report that we had to get.

Yes...I totally agree with all these comments. How I wished I had looked at them BEFORE I got snarled up with this appaling company. Poor communication, overpriced items, shoddy workmanship...leading to leaks that took forever to investigate and a "lady" on customer services who is CLINICAL in her dissmissal of you! I am just frustrated they are allowed to continue......lets hope the recession catches up with them...there are plenty of committed, consciencious firms out there...anxious to do a good job and provide a good service.....let them have the work then //because DOLPHIN BATHROOMS is NOT one of them!!!!!!!!

having read the reviews regret only one thing, wish we had looked before we booked. I agree with the statement of one contributor, dolphin certainly put the crap back into bathrooms. Long story short, family went on holiday, so dolphin could fit bathroom, well u guessed it, as ever they did not bother to turn up. When the , box standard (for dolphin) plumber(haha) aka odd job man, and not, i qoute "one of our professional fitters" managed amgonst leaving his plaster board and other trappings laying all over the house, including my not so cheap sofa, plumb both bath taps to cold water system, kinda gave the game away.
Moral of story, dont pay all up front, broke a life long rule and paid for it, only thing we can do is hope we can all stop the misery being spread further!

DON'T GO NEAR DOLPHIN BATHROOMS WITH A BARGE POLE ~ READ ALL THESE REVIEWS AND TAKE HEED ~ THEY'RE ALL TRUE AND I CAN UNDERSTAND EVERY ONE OF THEM AS I AM CURRENTLY BATTLING MY WAY THROUGH A DOLPHIN INSTALLATION AS I WRITE! IT IS NOW DAY 47 AND I STILL HAVE A LEAKING TOILET, NO FLOOR TILES (SOMEONE MESSED UP THE ORDER) EXCEPT THAT I ORDERED MY OWN THIS MORNING SO THE CHEERY, PROFESSIONAL FITTER (NOT!!) CAN GET ON WITH HIS SITTING IN THE VAN SMOKING THEN NOT TURNING UP THE NEXT DAY! I ALSO HAVE TAPS THAT ARE ON BACK TO FRONT (YES!!!!!! TRUE!!!!!) AND A DENTED RADIATOR, NO SHOWER SEAL, THE LIST IS ENDLESS. DON'T GO NEAR THIS COMPANY - THEY WILL DRIVE YOU INSANE! I'M PLANNING TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION AND HOPE THAT EVERYONE WHO READS THIS PASSES IT ON!!!!!!!

Worst company in Britain stay away from this ripp off firm they qoute ridiculous prices then discount. Poor quality goods at high prices. Steer clear. Quoted me £45000.00 had my beautiful bathroom fitted by another company using far better quality materials, in fact the salesman did not know or would not say the make of bathroom suites they use??? I know now the cheapest on the market is their STANDARD sanitary wear. I would not give them any stars.

Overpriced, Oh so overpriced! The salesman paints a picture of a great team coming to fit a luxury bathroom with the best fixtures and fittings. What you get is one guy who is a chippy, plummer, plasterer and general jack of no trades with fixtures that bring the crap back into the bathroom. The bath leaked bringing our kitchen ceiling down the shower has broken twice the toilet runs constantly the sink has blocked 3 times the sink plug no longer works. Cheap cheap cheap!!!
All I can do is mention them to anyone I ever hear talking about bathrooms although so far I found no one that has had one installed that has not agreed with me.
Just avoid them do it yourself no matter how unskilled you are no matter what cheap outlet you buy the fixtures from you will end up with a better bathroom.

Don't use Dolphin Bathrooms We have had so many problems from start to finish, the bathroom leaked through the ceiling and down our electric sockets and through our window, causing our window to bow! We have taken legal advice in regards to our bathroom installation, (if you can call it that)

if you decide to have a bathroom with Dolphin, ensure the phrasing "for our enjoyment" is placed in the agreement somewhere, then you can claim compenstation for the loss of your facilities and quality of fitting! Any work i'm having on my house in the future will include this!

My advice would be, just don't do it! Find a local plumber, however hard to find!

Funnily enough our fitter was called Terry!

We had nothing but problems, too many to list. Basically our kitchen was flooded, becuase the drain wasn't even fitted to the bath. The bathroom door hit the toilet, the finish is dismal. The workers were rude and would just walk in our house in the morning (only did 3-4 hours of work a day). The salesman talked rubbish and we were lied to. We didn't have a bath installed for a month. We loast annual leave and it took 12 tries for a fitter to actaully turn up. Then he was a contractor in a dolphin tee shirt!

Use a local plumber please, we wished we had taken heed from these comments.

Absolutley awful, they gave me the wrong installation date and then called me a liar. The bathroom was fitted but the electrician damaged one of the units, they delivered another damaged unit. I have just had my en-suite bathroom fitted by dolphin. The price was quite expensive but the room looks great, the finish and attention to detail is spot on and i am glad i paid the extra money for a top job. I am getting the main bathroom done next, so fingers crossed everything is as good as my en-suite

We live in Glasgow and recently had a dolphin bathroom installed..... We found this site after we had ordered our new bathroom and was worried when we read some of the reviews..... We are very glad to say that we have had no such problems with our bathroom and are really happy with everything from start to finish.

Our new bathroom looks fantastic and the couple next door has just orderd a bathroom from dolphin on the back of how good ours look.

We have just had a quote for a new ensuite by rip off Dolphin bathrooms the price quoted was £45000.00 I can assure you I have not put an extra 0 in, after picking myself up off the floor the salesman said they had a half price sale on so we could have the bathroom for £22500.00 he then said we could have it for £14000.00. Their goods are certainly not top quality as suggested by their rep. We have just had another from a recommended skilled workman using better quality tiles and sanitry wear at £6500.00. I would advise anyone to steer clear of this company. I give this company nil stars.
