I would love to know if Dodson got a refund. I've had a Dolphin bathroom in my living room for two months now and have just written to ask for my money back. I paid over the odds because I was sold a swift service with a team of crack installers who'd be with me 3 - 5 weeks after ordering. No sign of anybody and the date keeps getting put back. I can't have people over and have got three small children, so loss of our front room is highly inconvenient - nobody warned that they would deliver before installation.

I am writing out of pure frustration. Dolphin are excellent at sales and taking your hard-earned money. Their installation and customer service are abominable. We have a garage full of bathroom fittings and yet no insatallation three weeks on. We have paid and yet have received no customer care at all. I have had to keep phoning the installation department on a daily basis to try to fix a date and all they can do is lie, try to fob me off with excuses and tell me it might be next week. We are severely disappointed as we thought by choosing Dolphin it would be more convenient albeit a bit more expensive. I am at the moment awaiting a call from their sales manager to arrange for them to pick up the bathroom and return our money. If you do decide to become their next victims take heed!

Without going into our ongoing problems with Dolphin I would like to inform all persons that Dolphin were bought out in April 2007 and are now in ADMINISTRATION.

The reference No for this is Manchester District Registry:- 2414 of 2007.

This has been confirmed by my Lawyer

DOLPHIN Bathrooms - run by sharks!
I have been in formal dispute with them since the fitting (Jan 08) of my tiny new bathroom started going wrong. I won't waste time telling you how many things have gone wrong; suffice to say DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT buy from these sharks.
Overpriced, lovey dovey when the fitting is in prgress (phone call/day) but "gone with the wind" when trouble starts.
My dispute is not over yet since being suckered into getting a GE loan by a bullshitting salesman - the type that says, "I should not be telling you this........" He misguided us and lied on the deal, that's the bottom line. I wish I had never heard of Dolphin Bathrooms.

Dolphin have by far the worst customer service I have ever come across, for any service or product. Once we signed up for their new bathroom, the installations team were difficult to contact and on the rare occasion we got through, we were misinformed and sometimes lied to as to installation dates, even cutting short a holiday once to come back for a promised installation which failed to show up for a futher three weeks. This is a shame as the eventual standard of bathroom fitted is actually quite good - but the impression is completely ruined by their installation team who never offered us an apology throughout, and the derisory offer of £50 compensation we were given from their customer service team for the two month delay in fitting the bathroom and the problems this gave for us.

I am currently a customer,or more appropriately a victim,of Dolphins purported service and would warn any potential customer not to use this company under any circumstances.The salesman will do a good job but the service goes rapidly downhill therafter.I am currently in week 10 of a simple installation and despite assurances that they dont try to send broken components they dont do much to ensure their safe arrival either.I have currently received two broken baths and two broken toilet systems.The fitter is doing his best but the Company is a total shambles.

Anxious here for an update. Delivery arrived ahead of time (7:30am) to beat the London congestion charge. After delivery I was disappointed that installation was 2 weeks after delivery but I was away so it was OK.

Installer arrived on time as promised and the work is progressing nicely - will let you know about the final product.

Had a quote from Dolphin special needs - what a rip off, clueless rep, handwritten quote!! started at £24,000 got down to £8,400 - wow had to place the order NOT!!!!

Hear this all the time, have done for years, why doesnt trading standards do something about it.
