Advantages: improves posture, rolls across the floor and is actually very comfortable

Disadvantages: sometimes you do get pins and needles in the knees

I had been thinking of getting one of these wierd shaped chairs for about 3 years before I finally took the plunge and bought one. This was not originally because I had back problems, but because my work chair was so uncomfortable I couldn't bear to sit at my desk and work. I figured that if I had a comfy chair then I might actually do some work and maybe even pass my degree.
I bought a back chair at Argos and put it together within 10 minuites, though the instructions were the normal DIY picture format it was actually quite a painless assembly process.
Since getting this chair I have actually done more work- though whether it is enough to pass my degree or not is yet to be seen, however, I can say that the chair has actually remarkably improved my posture and I can actually sit and, well, if not work, stare off into mid space in perfect comfort. Also, the castors on the bottom mean that I can roll across my floor to retrieve paper darts from the other side of the room without even getting out of my chair- Fantastic.
