An OK Office Chair But Use With Caution

The high back leather faced swivel arm chair is a comfortable chair ideal for office use. I got this chair 2 years ago from Argos clearence.

The actual chair is good looking and comfortable to sit on. It swivels all the way round, 360 degrees. Its not a real leather chair its that plastic type material which has a leather look and feel. It has handles at both sides and are comfortable to rest your arms upon. The base is solid and sits on 5 rotating whels which can be manouvered in and direction you want.

It has a handle mechenism which is located just below were you sit. This when lifted while seated lowers the chair down using your body weight. If you do this when off the chair it will rise and you simply let go of it to the height you require. Using this same handle mechenism, if you pill it out wards it will allow you to lean back further and you can rock back and forth. If you push it inwards it will lock in an upright position.

Overall this is a good office chair if you weigh under 10 stones and dont lean back much! I say this because the handles on the chair is what holds the back rest and are screwed into it. When you lean back they are holding you. What happened with me is the back simply collapsed and i didnt even lean back on it much. Maybe it should have been stated how much body weight it can handle and to be catious about leaning back on it that much. So my advice is look for a chair which has its handles seprately located and not attached to the back rest of the chair. I got this from Argos on a clearance sale for £25 and now its broke.
