Advantages: Very cheap but quality is there

Disadvantages: A long way to go to get to the store

We visited IKEA in Edinburgh and the kitcen department were really really helpful. The planner helped us to plan it almost from scratch (we'ld done loads of research on independent kitchens and were about to settle for one at £4500 exc fitting) Ikea helped right down to the last hinge and the whole kitchen came in at under £3000. Okay we have fitted it ourselves and had to order especially (It was a Kullavik kitchen not available straight from the store) which took 3 weeks to be delivered. The only hitches we had was one missing hinge and a door that had the hinge hole drilled in the wrong place. The kitchen is very big and it looks fantastic. i would certainly rate IKEA highly and recommend them. I dont know about their fitters as we did it all ourselves but I love it and love cooking in it. The cooker hood was free as part of an offer as well which was an added bonus. IKEA Edinburgh is the tops!!

Summary: Overall we are more than 100% satisfied with the planning and service.
