After much research, we decided to get an IKEA kitchen. We've found it to be good quality and well thought out with some nice touches. However, they have a clause that if you have one of their stone worktops, you MUST use their installers, Kitchen Inspirations. Against our instincts, we decided to go with their installers. That's where ... Read the complete review

We live in a ramshackle old place which we currently rent. Our landlords are perfectly nice but I reckon they did the place up on a budget. We have a galley kitchen full of white bog standard units. This meant the design was easy to do and seemed to work for them as they already had experience in property development. They units were ... Read the complete review

I think the bare facts of our experience would be enough to put anyone off. Placed the order on 11 November 2010 and I'm still waiting for them to finish on 1 July 2011 with no set delivery date. Initially it was set for 22nd December, then that couldn't be done, so 28th December, etc etc. Finally had the units fitted with temporary ... Read the complete review

I recently bought my Ikea kitchen and have been delighted with the whole process. You can design your kitchen by downloading the ikea home planner tool from their website. This is very easy to use and allows you to design you dream kitchen by putting each cabinet into a digital room of the size of the kithchen. This can be ... Read the complete review

Well we are on our 2nd Ikea kitchen! not because the first one was bad! we installed one at our old house and then had to move I was gutted to leave it behind - all that hard work and I loved it the storage is amazing! That was 4years ago. When we moved I was really disappointed with the units in the new house, there wasn't near enough ... Read the complete review

Uurrgggh....Ikea flat pack kitchen.....the horror, the horror..... So on the plus side, now it's installed, it was pretty cheap and it looks all right. This the extent of anything positive I have to say about this range of products. The workmen at our house - hardened builder-types who fit kitchens (though admittedly, not ... We visited IKEA in Edinburgh and the kitcen department were really really helpful. The planner helped us to plan it almost from scratch (we'ld done loads of research on independent kitchens and were about to settle for one at £4500 exc fitting) Ikea helped right down to the last hinge and the whole kitchen came in at under £3000. Okay we ... Read the complete review

Awful! I am still in the throws of having kitchen 'installed' by IKEA (outsourced to an independent fitter). It is the worst service I have ever received. In brief, they have delivered the wrong items and missed out items, delivered items on the wrong days and too late and have been entirely unhelpful.I have now been without a kitchen for over a week and a half.I wish I'd seen this website first!

IKEA flat pack kitchens good quality but the installation service is poor. The £250 installation fee is a waste of money. The kitchen took weeks to arrive and then IKEA delivered the wrong parts twice and service manager refused to return calls. She was more concerned that her name was pronounced correctly than giving a service. ... Read the complete review

We tried to order an IKEA kitchen from the Milton Keynes shop and get it installed by IKEA. To make a long story short (and to forget numerous phone calls) we got the mobile number of a kitchen fitter for our 250 installation fee, who didn't seem to be in the mood to install an IKEA kitchen. After another 6 weeks IKEA finally ... Read the complete review

We ordered our Ikea kitchen from the Bristol store in May and were told installation would be in about 6 weeks. We paid the obligatory £250 for a 'project manager' but frankly, we could have done a much better job ourselves. The first company that were supposed to do the fitting lost their contract with Ikea, but Ikea didn't tell us ... Read the complete review

My home renovation is finished, and the last thing that was done was the kitchen. Of course, that's really one of the hardest parts of a major renovation, and I'm glad that I had IKEA to help me with this. So I thought you might want to share my experiences with IKEA Kitchen Systems. First of all, you'll find IKEA Kitchen ... Read the complete review
