Advantages: Looks very good
Disadvantages: Low back means it can get uncomfortable after a while
This is a decent priced and fashionable looking two-seater sofa from Ikea. There are various colour options available including black , white, red, turquoise and a couple of patterned varieties however I have the blue denim effect finish on mine. They retail at about £150 which is an excellent price for a brand new sofa. It is open underneath (with no fabric skirting), allowing easy access for sweeping and hovering. The cover is also removable and machine washable although I haven't tried this yet.
The seat is quite deep and I personally find it more comfortable with cushions however a taller person would probably not be bothered by this. The style of the sofa means that the back is not very high and does not offer any upper back support so it can get a bit uncomfortable after a while. However the low back means that it looks good in a room without having to be placed up against a wall as is the case with high-backed furniture.
I think this sofa is ideally suited to a bedroom or office or somewhere where it is a secondary piece of furniture as it is probably not comfortable enough as the main sofa in a living room for watching films for a few hours without moving. However I think it is a stylish and decent sofa for the price.
Summary: Decent priced and fashionable
