I wander why this is called a lack table? These Ikea lack side tables are available in stores from between £5 -£15. I will list the styles and prices shortly.

My one is red and been going strong for quite a few years now. I find it is very versatile in it's uses as has been a living room side table come coffee table, a hall way table which meant it got cluttered up with post, and rubbish as was by the front door and became a dumping table. But these days it has made it's home in the kids bedrooms, it is usually in one or the others room depending on who has used it last. They tend to use it for drawing on, model building etc. My daughter likes to make her puzzles on it too and we have a matching chair so this is the perfect size for her rather then my son who looks too big for the chair.

This is brought flat packed but as you can see there are only 5 pieces to it a top and four legs. I don't think I even would need instructions for this one, I often moan at my partner as he never looks at instructions. What really surprised me with this table is that even though it looks solid and sturdy the fact is it is really light weight. Can be picked up with one hand easily as I do that when hoovering and want to move it out the way.

Sometimes I notice a leg has twisted round at a different angle where it gets moved about or banged into but it twists back in to place easily enough.
It is easily wiped clean if gets dirty and is kind of waterproof and by that I mean when a drink is knocked over on it then it doesn't seep into the wood because of the coating on it.

I totally recommend this table especially as it is versatile and also you choose the colour style you want to match your chosen room. With prices from £5 you won't find better quality and most people are aware of Ikea products and their standards.
