      Nice rug

When we were doing up the nursery, although I knew we were expecting the nursery, I wanted to keep the room fairly neutral and add a few pink accents. I spotted this rug in Ikea and decided to buy just to add a bit of colour to the cream carpet.

This is a heart shaped rug which measures 64 x 67cm. It if a nice baby pink colour with different sized red dots around the edges.

The rug currently retails for £3.99 and is available to purchase on line and in store. You can check stock availability for you local store on Ikea's website if you didn't want to have a wasted journey

It is part of Vitaminer range which is exclusive to Ikea, the range includes bedding, curtains, blankets etc all of which, just like the rug are really reasonably priced. The colours are really nice and girly which is what I wanted.

We have had the rug for around 3 years (before Lauren decided she wanted a princess bedroom) and although I couldn't boast that is hardwearing (as it is only at the side of her bed) it did still look like new. One of the bonus's of the rug is that it is machine washable (at 40) and because it is a small rug, it fits in the washer easily. I have washed a couple of times and the colours haven't faded in the slightest. The rug is rubber backed so could be used on laminate or wooden flooring.

The only downside is the pile, it is very small and is 100% nylon so it doesn't really have that luxurious feel about it and isn't the softest.

Overall, I am really pleased with the rug, I had looked at other but begrudged paying at least £20 for something similar so I would recommend this and give 4 out of 5 stars!

      Thanks for reading.
