... broken the only outcome is a sub-standard product.
This weekend I had another dinner and you've guessed it, another broken plastic part.
Although £75 per chair is not a massive amount, I feel the product is not fit for purpose and should not break after only two uses. I am totally disappointed in the service but more so the product.
If this is a one-off faulty batch fair enough but next time I will think twice when opting for John Lewis as the 'high quality' brand....more

I bought 4 of these dining room chairs from John Lewis 3 months ago and whilst the over all service was not outstanding. I was told I would be contacted to let me know when my chairs would be delivered however I never received any call and when an-branded white van pulled up in my drive I assumed it must be the Hygena table I had ordered from Argos. It turns out it was my John Lewis chairs. Although unexpected due to no call, I was delighted with my chairs when they came although I did have to carry the boxes up the stairs with the driver as he was by himself and being 5.2ft and 8 stone this was not easy.
