Kitchen Tables I have only owned 2 Kitchen tables in my life let me tell you about them.

My first was given to me when my old great Aunt died .

She died just before my husband and I moved into an unfurnished rented house when we had just got married.
My parents had kept her table (you never know when it will come in useful) .It had a yellow formica/plastic wipe clean table top covering the wooden plywood type table .The table was just big enough for 4 to fit round. Excellent for us at that time.

When we moved into our own home the kitchen was tiny and no room for the table , but it was useful in the shed.

We moved again and the table fell to pieces with age and damp sadly had to be thrown away

.
We had a bigger kitchen again and went on search of a good solid table.
In shop in Amersham we found a reconditioned pine table. The table top from one table the legs from another. It cost about 200 pounds .
I think this must be 18/19 years ago.

My table is a really solid piece of furniture a farmhouse table seating 8 if necessary 6 easily.
I wax polish it occasionally to keep the wood in good condition. It has no marks on it I use a trivet or a mat if I am putting hot things on it. I can see my pine table lasting forever it is well made and solid.
We have some old pine chairs around it not a matching set but some we inherited others we bought cheap second hand.
I love my old pine table. It was expensive at the time but worth it I think.
Thanks for reading hey its friday no work tomorrow. Mary

No problem, glad to help.

If all else fails, go cap in hand to your local Jessops, find a nice staff member (most) and beg for help!

Hi, re EOS 5.

Buy a copy of Amature Photographer, there is a company advertising in there that can supply copys of the manual.

Its called Old Timer Cameras.

Another company called Robert Scott Associates can also supply but I don't have the details.
