Advantages: some smart looking items,

Disadvantages: fell apart within days, hard to set up

i have to say, i am not a fan of MFI bedroom furniature. when i moved into my first flat, i ordered a wardrobe, chest of drawers and a bed side table. i was quite happy with the price and it cost me £30 to have the lot delievered which i thought was quite reasonable. the items arived within a few days and we set about putting them together. i have never read such complicated instructions in my life. you expect them to be a bit hard to read but these really were something else. it took 3 of us to work out how to put the items together and then there were too many screws of one type and not enogh of the other. luckily because i had ordered a few items, there did work out to be enough needed. after what seamed like weeks puting them together, they looked really quite nice. after just 1 day, i noticed the drawer on the bed side table had dropped slightly so didnt shut properly. i tightened the screws and hoped that would fix it. it didnt and i found that the wood had split so the screws were not holding the drawer on the track correctly. then the door on my wardrobe split. i contacted MFI and after around a month of phone calls and complaining emails, i got my money back and they even let me keep the items i had so i supose i couldnt have asked for more. i still wouldnt buy furniature from them again tho. not very good at all
