Yes, it seems so tempting - buy some cheap DIY snap-it-together bookshelves, and that will solve all your problems. But there are flaws with this plan. What goes together easily can also come apart easily. The "wood" itself is chipboard, a reconstituted material made of wood-chippings from timber-mills.
