Advantages: good price, nice styles , easy ordering
Disadvantages: long delivery date
I've read a lot of bad reviews for MFI but I have had a very positive experience buying from MFI. Maybe the difference is which branch you order from?
We've just sold our house after 'doing it up' which included putting in a new kitchen. After shopping around we bought a kitchen from MFI in Reading. The assistant there was very patient and when we said we were fitting the kitchen ourselves gave us some very good advice.
The kitchen arrived a week later than originally planned but everything was there, the most stressful part of it all was actually fitting it. But that was more down to the age of the property - absolutely nothing was square, the floor sloped and the walls were a nightmare to fix to. (take note if you own a period property and plan to fit your kitchen yourself!)
We had a panel and a few other bits left over (our mis-calulation not MFI's) which they collected and refunded with no quibble at all.
It looked so good my neighbour is now keen to get her kitchen done (much to her husband's dismay, mind you ours only cost £2,500 so he needn't sweat it too much).
Another tip, even if you are going for one of the cheaper ranges get the higher spec drawer fittings and buy door dampners. Makes it feel more expensive than it really is.

- 24/09/04 We have just ordered one of their office furniture packages via the internet and in this particular package we are receiving about £300 worth of goods MORE than the same range packages on offer in their showrooms! I mentioned this to the assistant in our local showroom and he double checked it on the computer/internet and said "Wow - you are right".

- 23/09/04 Welcome to Dooyoo.
A few tips to get you started on the site: Although there's no limit on the amount of reviews you can post it's better to post just three a day then you'll find you get more reads. If you read and rate around the site you'll soon find out what should be included in a review plus you'll get known to other members which will result in them reading things that you post.
It’s always a good idea to write your reviews as though you are writing for someone who has never heard of the product, that way you’ll cover everything. Also it’s best to write your review in Microsoft Word and run a spellchecker before posting onto the site.
You can ask any of the guides for help with any aspect of the site and a list of all the guides can be found here http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/c ommunity/_page/advice_gui des/. They will do everything they can to help with your query.
You can sign up for your own guest book at http://www.crosswordcheat s.com/tooyoo/ where you can chat with other Dooyoo members.
Above all I hope you enjoy it here and have fun :O) Sara
