My name is Grace and I live in the US - wow, to read all of the poor reviews of MFI really breaks my heart. I was employed by Howdens Millwork which was a sibling company of MFI and these reviews, these horror stories of poor at best customer service just sadden me. Howdens was actually dissolved and pulled from the US but let me assure you, we LOVED our jobs and our customers. We did a free luncheon every Friday for our contractors and we welcomed them to also bring their homeowners to join us. If there was ever ANY problem from a scratched cabinet pull to a warped cabinet box, we would fix it ourselves if necessary and I mean, our assistant manager who weighed 95 lbs. would go tear out a cabinet if necessary. We would never leave our customers without a kitchen for more than MAYBE 2 weeks at the very most and even then, we would make sure they had the bare essentials( refrigerator top box and the over the stove cabinet) so they could atleast prepare a meal for their families. It really sucks that there are so many folks working for this company who have no idea that without a customer, there is no MFI. Maybe they should bring some of the employees who worked for Howdens to the UK and show them how to treat the people who put the food in their own kitchens.
