I have recently bought a kitchen from MFI which will be delivered tomorrow. I was very impressed with the service that I got considering that I hate any form of shopping. What you do now is measure your kitchen including plug sockets, doors and windows etc and they feed this information into their computer. You then decide which kitchen you like and they can design the kitchen in front of you so you actually get to see how it will look like. Very good so far. We were unsure of the kitchen we actually wanted and whittled it down to 2 types. After viewing both types we actually had a chance to see how each would look and then decided. I am not sure how people managed this before with the aid of a P.C. I suppose soon it will all be virtual reality and you will be able to actually walk around it (if they are not doing that already). The only thing I did not like about this experience is that you never get anything for free. What I mean by this is even though you have just spent well over a grand for kitchen units they didn't or wouldn't throw anything in free such as splash back or such like. I am not saying that I expect free be's everywhere I go but it wouldn't hurt to sweeten me up a bit (or anybody else for that matter) as their profit margin must be huge and any discount makes me feel that I have saved some money. All in all though a good service and quite painless.
