Moben Kitchens

Well here I am at the beginning of my Moben voyage (not that I was expecting it to be a World Cruise but rather a short jaunt across the Bristol Channel. Up until the point of delivery things were going well, the designer had put together a lovely looking kitchen and after living with chipboard hell for 15 years anticipation was high. I had all of the electrics, plumbing, heating and plastering done before the kitchen arrived as I wanted them to just come in connect it up and leave. I had therefore lived with no sink and all of my kitchen equipment inhabiting my dining room table for a month before Moben were supposed to start and was pretty battle ...

Had a Moben kitchen fitted about 5 years ago and had problems myself even back then. Just moved house and had a new kitchen & bedroom fitted by a company called BELGAM KITCHENS & BEDROOMS. Not only were they a lot cheaper than Moben. (oh yes , i actually had them round to quote!!) but they were a lot more professional. I would recommend anyone considering buying a kitchen from Moben to at least check them out first. Moben ..... lol. I ordered a 9.5k kitchen to fit an area no larger than room to swing a cat. What should have taken 3 days is still not finished one month on.There are faults on the panels and handles and guess what, the kitchen is fitted with plasterboard walls. I was told it would be plaster skimmed on 5 occasions and now Moben say no chance. I was left without water and a sink for 9 days and customer services did nothing. I now have to pay a plasterer to come in an plaster around a very expensive kitchen and 3k of work surface ... what a joke!! I could list many more complaints but it woiuld take all day.
