Advantages: The speed that they take your money
Disadvantages: The most frustrating experience ever encountered
Well am now into the 7th month of my kitchen installation, and the fun continues. Moben were great at clearing chq and from that point, have been useless.
Bench tops started to bubble as they hadn’t been sealed properly; fridge door doesn’t close properly as not fitted correctly. Washing machine flooded kitchen floor as clamp on hose not fitted properly. The list goes on.
Took 4 weeks to get Moben out to accept that they needed to rectify problems, another 4 weeks to get further update on ETA, then materials arrive and now after having large sections of bench tops, new doors etc sitting in my hallway for 2 weeks am told on a daily basis that someone will call me back to arrange for fitters to come out.
A joke from start to finish, a classic case of collect cash from customer and then outsource absolutely everything from that point onwards so customer cant make effective complaint / talk to anyone with an ounce of brain power / get any idea of where they stand in terms of delivery dates.
Take your money and go anywhere else.
Summary: Moben were great at clearfing chq and from that point, have been useless

- 11/07/06 You haven't said anything about the contract that you had with them, how their team measured up the kitchen, whether they employ sub contractors. All of these things matter. |

- 11/07/06 Sounds like you were unlucky...we had one fitted last year and had no problems, delivery was on time and hassle free, some of the unit doors were scratched on delivery but they were changed with no questions asked. The customer service and the fitting was very good and a year on we've had no problems with any of the fixtures, units or appliances.
Th e review needs a lot more detail to make it very useful. |

- 11/07/06 sorry for the lower rating, but i thought that more information was required, how much did you have to shell out for you kitchen, how big was your kitchen, did you go for their bog standard run of the mill kitchens? is there a good range, why did you decide to go to moben in the first place? x |
