Beware of Moben kitchens!!! (Moben Kitchens)

No price lists and "guess the price" game when we got the rep round. Kitchen cost £8,5000 but of course it was really "worth" £17,000 but was in Moben "sale"!! One man and his van came round on expected date and set to work like a rocket. An electrician came to do the electrics a few days later and the two of them stood outside smoking and chatting for 2 hours!!! After about 5 days we stood back in horror to view what we expected to be beautiful but instead, the workmanship was horrendous. Chipped units, wrong colour doors, in fact, it looked like an amateur had assembled and cut it. Inside the cupboards were great big holes and the inner shelves did not even meet. We were very upset and complained to the workman. We also felt insulted that he had expected us to accept such shoddy workmanship. He put some bits right but made it look worse. Moben did not want to know and would not take our calls. In the end we had to call our local showroom to complain. There was no niceties from their end and a manager came and took photos etc and promised us a new kitchen. We took delivery of new doors etc about one week later and then a squad of 4 turned up to set the kitchen to rights. They were very quick but the quality of their work was only slightly better. We had to wait for about 6 weeks for the Moben tiler to come and tile our walls. Since then there has been no followup from Moben to see if we are happy. Word of warning though. When the salesperson gets you to sign up for kitchen, you automatically owe GE Capital Bank and NOT Moben. Our kitchen is beautiful now but not like how you see them on the tv. The quality is very poor and I certainly would NOT recommend Moben to anybody.

Summary: No set prices, didn't get choice of units or appliances as rep chose everything. Big con.
