I am definitely not a former employee of Moben - I am a genuine and genuinely dissatisfied customer. I made teh massive mistake of buying both a Moben kitchen and a Dolphin bathroom at the same time, as they are the same company and offered me a 'joined up' project plan and huge cost savings. Wrong, and wrong. Two different sets of 'designers' and surveyors came and looked blank when I asked them to interract with their counterparts ('Nothing to do with us, love' etc). Both 'disgners' produced designs over three hours which were then ripped up by the surveyors who visited (some weeks) later as completely impracticable with the plumbing/electrcs and layout of the roomds. The Dolphin designer actuallt came THREE times because he kept forgetting to ask the right questions and then came up with a plan where the bath was longer than the wall he proposed putting it against. The work started on the kitchen and then the bathroom about FIVE MONTHS after the surveys. I was told that I had to liasie with the fitters, tilers, electricians etc myself - there was zero project managment. the work itself was done OK, but they just use local contractors to do this (I made sure I took their cards for next time). Take my advice: measure up yourself, go to a good shop and buy the kit you want, then get a good local firm to install it. By my calculation, if I had done this, I would have spent 33% less and - I am sure - had much less heartache and wasted time. And the 100% upfront payment on delivery is bullshit. Just say no.

Summary: Buy the equipment you want yourself and find a local fitter

You've been very unlucky ending up buying two separate home 'improvements' from these 'cowboys'. I know it won't be any consolation but welcome to the continually increasing club of dissatisfied customers of Moben etc. As a result of my kitchenhell website I frequently receive emails from dissatisfied customers such as yourself, and also from many lucky people who found reviews of Moben etc installations in time to avoid signing on the dotted line.
Not only is Moben's service lacking but the ASA recently found their advertising failed the test in terms of of truthfulness!
