Disadvantages: Extraordinary poor customer care and poor product quality

Having been impressed by the showroom presentation and having some confidence in the name of the company we invited the designer/salesman to do the design of our kitchen. Big mistake! We were promised solid wood doors in beech, as we specified that we found any veneer or laminates unacceptable and were a position to pay for the better quality that we were promised Moben offered. Unfortunately one is sold promises that are not delivered on. Moben does very few solid wood doors and certainly no beech! The real dangers of this company are many. The initial design that one signs up for is not necessarily what is delivered. We are currently subjected to hell and have been so for the last 3 weeks. The delivery from Moben (at which point I was required to pay the balance without being able to check) was very substantially incomplete with many items as well as 5 of the cabinets missing. The local fitters are badly treated by the company in not being provided in time with the material to be fitted. When the company is contacted, staff appear to have no idea of the status of the order and keep claiming that items have either been sent or have misteriously got lost. Project management is non existant. We have still not seen any Moben employee since payment was made. The biggest problem is that the company insists on payment in advance. Quite illegal, when it actually knows that it does not deliver the goods it demands payment for. Dealing with this company has been my worst commercial experience ever. I am taking legal advise on how to pursue this rogue trader but am very sad to have to consider doing so. If any public sector provider would dare offer this quality of service it would face an inquiry, this company though appears to be bale to make a habit of it and get away with it. I will be keen to stop it and can assure you I am not an ex-employee of Moben.
