Dont go with Moben!!! you do so at your peril.

Dont part with any money and if you do just a small deposit.

I would advise to go with finance option at least you have some protection under British consumer law any problems that can not be solved locally pass it on, you will get no joy from customer care or the project manager In our case.

Promise you the earth to get you off ther back and deliver nothing

Read your contract carefully if you do go with them they will wriggle like the worms they are to get out of a situation.
Use Watchdag website it has all kinds of good information.


Lets form an action group and forward mass complaints to Watch Dog

Anyone up for it.

One question has anyone had a happy result by taking them on !!! They are keen to state that they do not do compensation. Mybe a good will gesture may help. Any comments welcome

A way to go is the 1974 Section 75 Consumer Credit act
Supply of goods act 1982 if you have bought on credit

I am going to use The Misreprestation act 1967 because we took teh contract after being told the kitchen would be completed within a certain time scale this has not happened

I have been in touch with consumer direct via the web and rang them they are very helpful. It is frustrating but use the due process. Get in touch with your finance comapmy ask for a form to complain ask to speak to the manager and register your complaint. Keep records and diaries everything.

Put you r compalint in to both the company and Finanace.

You will get a what has been termed as a blocking letter you need to challange this use the formated letters on consumer direct after 7 / 10 days there is a 8 week period for the companies to react.

Apparently something should happen if not use the finance obusman and not the furniture obusman.

Up-date
recieved an offer of a good will payment £75 what a joke told them what they can do with this insulting offer.

Sent letter in to teh company and the finance company under section 75 credit act 1974.

Moben have been in touch !! that was quick still await a meeting and a offer.

I am prepared to go all the way it has gone beyond money.

I have been in touch with Watchdog and await a response. Watch this space.
