Disadvantages: Appauling after sale support
Problems with Moben:
Very pushy sales
The price you agree too isn't the price you pay - initial sales visit underestimates horribly!
Wrong parts delivered leading to delays
Fitting service wasn't great - leaky pipes and some damage to cupboard sides that the fitter put some polish in to hide it.
Moben supplied appliences poor quality - our Tecnic oven and dishwasher both have problems
Most of our supposed solid oak expensive cupboard doors have somehow become misshapen and now won't close properly
Original plans were flawed - we had to change a cooler for a cupboard after the fitter pointed out the cooler would not physically fit. Also the cornicing on top of one cupboard extends in front of the window! Can the planners not use a measuring tape I wonder?
Customer service and after sales care appauling - takes months for them to return a call.
Customer services are only open mon-fri 9-5 so if you work full time as we do it is very hard to chase them up.
In short we are at the stage of taking our complaint to the finance company and witholding payment due to Moben not keeping their end of the deal by providing a fit for purpose, finished kitchen.
Be VERY WARY of buying a kitchen from Moben. They say they pride themselves on having good customer service due to being suppliers, fitters etc all in one, but this just is not the case at all.
Summary: Months down the line we are still waiting for our problems to be sorted.
